Egg Collection Tank
The egg collection tank is important equipment for tilapia farming. When tilapia fish eggs rise to a surface to be collected, eggs are collected with a collection device in a soft manner without damaging the eggs and kept in the collection tank. The purpose of holding the eggs in the egg collection tank is disinfection and stocking.
Egg collection tanks can be made in square or oval shape.Square tanks, which are located in hatcheries as rootstock maintenance tanks, are mostly square structures and shaped by rounding corners. 5-20 m3 or optionally larger volumes are produced.
These tanks and hatcheries made of fiberglass are easy to clean and maintain. Incubation tanks can contain 4 eggs. This inter-water flow is designed so that no air bubbles are formed in the tank.
